George BIRD

George was born in 1811 in Cockfield. George's father was James BIRD and his mother was Alice GOULD. His paternal grandparents were Edmund BIRD and Mary BRAGG; his maternal grandparents were Samuel GOULD and Alice ARMSTRONG. He had four brothers and three sisters, named James, John, Robert, Henry, Mary, Elizabeth and Sarah. He was the sixth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 70 on April 5th, 1881 in Great Waldingfield.
