Edmund was born in 1655 in Claydon and his christening took place there on January 25th, 1656.  Edmund's father was Edmund BIRD and his mother was Margaret BROWNE.  His paternal grandparents were Edmund BIRD and Priscilla HOWELL; his maternal grandparents were William BROWNE and Ann. He had a brother and two sisters, named Richard, Margaret and Ann.  He was the second oldest of the four children.  He died at the age of 64 on February 2nd, 1719 in Kettlebaston.  The funeral took place on February 2nd, 1719 in Kettlebaston.
