Louisa was born on May 22nd, 1841 in Stratfield Saye.  Louisa's father was James BEECH and her mother was Maria ALLEN.  Her paternal grandparents were Mark BEECH and Mary ALLEN; her maternal grandparents were Richard ALLEN and Mary. She had five brothers and a sister, named John, William, James, George, Alfred and Sarah.  She was the second oldest of the seven children.
