Joseph was born on March 14th, 1859 in Hitcham and his baptism took place there on May 27th, 1860.  Joseph's father was Robert BARTON and his mother was Susan BLOOMFIELD. He had a brother named Walter.  He died at the age of 75 on March 18th, 1934 in Hitcham.  The funeral took place on March 20th, 1934 in Hitcham.
