Both men were Coal miners. Relative ofCraig is the grandson of John Mannion 1867 - 1934 Louisa Eddowes 67 67 Louisa had left home and was working in service in 1881, aged only 14.

Louisa recorded her mother as Mary Ann Lewis when she married, so her mother must have married again.

Her last known address was in Wallasey.
1870 Elizabeth Eddowes Elizabeth may have been in service in Wrexham for the Jesson family in 1891, although there was another Elizabeth Eddowes born in 1862 in Wrexham.

This Elizabeth did NOT marry Edward William Caine in 1911.  This was an older Elizabeth Eddowes, born in 1865 (also born in Birkenhead).

I dont think she married WILLIAM HENRY REID either, as there's no match in 1911.  It is believed that she married William Humphreys.
1874 Mary Ann Eddowes Baptised and registered as Mary Ann Eddowes, but later known as Mary Jane ... or is this another?

Mary Eddowes (aged 18) was in service, working for John and Margaret Allen and family in St Catherine, Tranmere, Birkenhead  in 1891. Another Mary Jane Eddows (age 16) is also in service in Wrexham.

Mary Jane Eddowes probably married Thomas Davies in Lancashire in 1896 (Walton, W. Derby) or Robert W Dodds in 1897 (Chorlton, Manchester).
1877 Minnie (Annie) Eddowes Cant find any records for Minnie after 1881 (except for a marriage).  Did she leave the country? 1861 - 1918 James Fleet 57 57 1890 Lily May Fleet 1893 George Henry Fleet 1896 John Harold Fleet William Higgins Charles Lewis Louisa (daughter or Mary Ann) recorded her mother as Mary Ann Lewis when she married, so Mary Ann must have married again. 1872 Thomas Davies 1872 William Humphreys William was born in Wrexham, the son of Richard Humphreys.

The Humphreys family lived at "Stansty Lodge (near Wrexham)" around 1900-1911, ahd William was a coal miner.
1895 Mary Ellen Humphreys Mary had left home by 1911, but was only 16 so probably not married but working in service. 1896 Richard Humphreys The Humphrey family lived at "Stansty Lodge (near Wrexham)" around 1900-1911. 1899 Catherine Humphreys 1900 James Humphreys 1881 George Eddowes In 1901, George Eddowes was a lodger with William Humphreys and it it assumed (but not confirmed) he was a brother of Elizabeth.

About 1905, George and Nellie moved to Sutton Oak, Lancashire their last three children were born.

In 1911, George and Nellie (30 and 29) were boarders with Thomas and Mary Elenior Griffiths and family at 38 Bank Street, Tyldesly, Lancashire. George was a Pit Sinker (Coal Miner).  His four children were at school.
