This Richard was Christened in Worsley, so is assumed to be the one who married Martha Tyldesley and lived at Mather's Fold in Little Hulton.

William was still at Mather's fold, Little Hulton in 1861, widowed with sons John and Edwin (both coal miners).
1806 Martha Bleakley There's a William and Martha Mather in Ashton under Luny in 1841.  They have no children, but are of the correct age, co could be them.  The only other William and Martha found in 1841 in Bolton are the family from Little Hulton. 1829 William Crosland Mather 1827 James Mather ~1780 William Bleakley ~1780 Nancy Wrigley 1804 James Bleakley 1810 Elizabeth Bleakley ~1806 William Mather We can assume William came from a prosperous family, as he married Martha by license. ~1806 Richard Fielding Richard was a widower hen he married Martha, a widow.  Richard's father was Henry, a gentleman.
