SARAH EMMA PICKELS
Christening: 05 NOV 1826 Colne, Lancashire, England
Parents:
Father: THOMAS PICKELS
Mother: MARY
There were two other Sarah Pickles with father Thomas, one from Colne, one from Haworth, both born in 1824, and both with mother Mary. Confusing! However, all other records are consistent with her being born in 1826.
Its likely that Sarah and family was actually from Southfield, 1 mile south of Colne which, according to 1881 census, is where brother William C was born.
She died due to Alzheimer's disease, Senile Decay, certified by G.B. Brown MB, at the age of 81 on June 28th, 1907 in
Tranmere.
