John and Happy were married in a religious ceremony on September 5th, 1842 at Christ Church, Ainsworth witnessed by William Taylor & Alice Mather.¹

  John was recorded on the FreeBMD index (vol 21, page 09), but Happy Mather is (Sep 1842, Vol 21, 109). A correction has been posted.
