Albert and Jane were married in a religious ceremony on March 29th, 1873 in Bingley by John Green and witnessed by Ben S Bray and Emma Horsfall and J H S Taylor.¹

  The 1911 census tells us that Albert and Jane had been married 38 years and had a total of 7 children, but three had died, probably as infants. By 1911, the four surviving children were Sarah, George, Walter and Minnie. By deduction from BMD records, the children who died are probably Lucy, Lavinia and Gladys.

They had two sons and five daughters, named George, Walter, Lucy, Sarah, Lilly, Lavinia and Gladys. There are no more children.
