Ann was born in 1777 in Keel and her christening took place there on March 9th, 1777.1  Ann's father was Richard Timmis and her mother was Mary Hall.  Her maternal grandparents were Joseph Hall and Mary Hall. She had four brothers and a sister, named Josiah, John, John, Richard and Mary.  She was the third oldest of the six children.
