Ann Stocks

Ann was born on August 8th, 1830 in Yorkshire.¹ Ann's father was Benjamin Stocks and her mother was Sarah Campinot. Her paternal grandparents were George Stocks and Mary Blackburn; her maternal grandfather was James Campinot. She had three brothers and three sisters, named George, James, Joseph, Mary, Ellen and Emma. She was the third youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 40 in October 1870 in Illinois (IL).¹

Death Notes
- According to a letter from William Boothroyd, Ann and the other three daughters died before 1875 (i.e. died before both her parents).
  
  In a letter from Benjamin and Sarah Stocks to is son Joseph, dated 27-Nov-1870, they record that they had recieved a letter from George Bennet about a month ago to inform them that Ann was dead. She must therefore have died about Oct 1870.
