William Cockshott Pickles (Cockshutt)

William was born in 1821 in Southfield and his christening took place on December 24th, 1820 at Colne.¹²

William's father was Thomas Pickles and his mother was Mary Pickles. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Pickles and Mary Walsh. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, John, Robert, Edward, Whitley, Dinley, Margaret, Mary, Sarah, Alice and Caroline. He died at the age of 63 in June 1884 in Keighley.³
