Walker was born in 1836 in Bingley and his christening took place there on August 28th, 1836.¹

General Notes
- There was a Walker Pickles, son of Lot and Maria Pickles and family were living in Bingley in 1841, and 1851.
  
  Christening record show another Walker Pickles, christened in Bingley of parents Thomas Pickles and Mary. This Walker Pickles (b.1833) was living in Bradford in 1841 (and no record in 1851).
  
  He is not of our Thomas and Mary Pickles family, even though christening records suggest he is.
  
  May have married in Huddersfield in 1861
