Israel Pendlebury

Israel was born in 1870 in Bolton.¹ Israel's father was James Pendlebury and his mother was Eliza Mather. His maternal grandparents were Isaac Mather and Mary Fairhurst. He had four brothers named Albert, John, David and Fred. He was the third oldest of the five children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Henry, James and Mary.

General Notes
- John and Israel were still with their mother, Eliza in 1891. In 1891, uncle Samuel Mather (a cotton mill operative) was visiting.
  
  Still single in 1901, and had a boarder, James Robinson (aged 25) with him.
