John Neal

John was born about 1872 in Lancashire.¹ John's father was William Neal and his mother was Martha Buckley. His maternal grandparents were Benjamin Buckley and Patience Oldham. He had two brothers and three sisters, named William, Herbert, Annie, Emma and Beattie. He was the second oldest of the six children.
