Thomas A Mather

Thomas was born in 1876 in Little Hulton.¹ Thomas' father was Samuel Mather and his mother was Hannah (Betsy) Kay. His paternal grandparents were William Mather and Martha Tildsey. He had four brothers and six sisters, named William, Samuel, Herbert, Ernest, Amelia, Annie, Jesse, Matilda, Lizzie and Lawraett. He was the fourth youngest of the eleven children.
