Sarah Alice Mather

Sarah was born in September 1850 in Little Bolton.¹

Sarah's father was John Mather and her mother was Elizabeth (Eli) Kay. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Mather and Alice Mather; her maternal grandparents were Ralph Kay and Ruth Taylor. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, John, Susannah, Margaret and Ruth. She was the third youngest of the six children. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Benjamin, Joseph and Sarah. She died at the age of 64 in September 1914 in Leicester.²

  Was believed to have Married William Entwistle. Also, the "Sarah A" matches. However, the 1891 census shows that Sarah with her Farther Joseph Boardman. Now believed to have married Reubeh Hardford.
  
  Sarah Alice was a witness at sister Ruth's marriage of 1879.
