Jesse Mather

Jesse was born in 1868 in Little Hulton.¹ Jesse's father was Samuel Mather and her mother was Hannah (Betsy) Kay. Her paternal grandparents were William Mather and Martha Tildsey. She had five brothers and five sisters, named William, Samuel, Thomas, Herbert, Ernest, Amelia, Annie, Matilda, Lizzie and Lawraett. She was the fifth oldest of the eleven children.
