Fred Mather

Fred's father was George Alfred Mather and his mother was Ellen Guest. His paternal grandparents were George Mather and Mary Marsh; his maternal grandparents were Guest Guest and Martha Ann Eckersley. He had two brothers and six sisters, named George, Harry, Eleanor, Emily, Martha, Lilly, May and Ethel. He was the youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 17 in December 1925 in Bolton.²
