Ann Mather

Ann was born in 1822 in Little Hulton.¹

Ann's father was William Mather and her mother was Martha Tildsey. Her paternal grandparents were Ellis Mather and Ann Thornley; her maternal grandparents were Samuel Tildsey and Martha Mort. She had four brothers and a sister, named Matthew, John, Edwin, Samuel and Alice. She was the oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 58 in December 1880 in Bolton.²
