Happy was born on February 8th, 1768 in Deane and her baptism took place on April 17th, 1768 at Bank Street Unitarian conducted by Reverend Philip Holland.1 2  Happy's father was James Lomax and her mother was Mary Nelson.  Her paternal grandparents were John Lomax and Ellen Cross. She had a brother and three sisters, named John, Mary, Jane and Alice.  She was the second youngest of the five children. She had three half-sisters named Elizabeth, Catherine and Mary.  She died due to natural causes or old age, Natural Decay with Cystitis, at the age of 75 on June 23rd, 1843 in Bolton.3
