George King

George was born in March 1896 in Bingley.¹ George's father was Samuel Christmas King and his mother was Hannah E Pickles. His maternal grandparents were William Cockshott Pickles and Mary Ickeringill. He had three brothers and a sister, named Arthur, Tom, Edward and Blanche. He was the youngest of the five children.
