George was born in June 1879 in Wrexham.1  George's father is Thomas Henry Roberts and his mother was Elizabeth Eddowes.  His maternal grandparents were George Eddowes and Mary Jones. He had a brother and a sister, named Arthur and Elizabeth.  He was the youngest of the three children.  George is no longer alive.
