George Eddowes

George was born in 1831.

Birth Notes
- No Christening can be found in the IGI Index, although other Christening including older brother Edmund are present.

George's father was John Eddowes and his mother was Mary Holt. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Edwin, Thomas, John, William, Matthew, Esther and Lydia. He died at the age of 62 in June 1893 in Wrexham.¹

General Notes
- There's no direct evidence that George was a son of John and Mary. The 1841 census records are missing, and by 1851 he was married. However his oldest son, George, was living with Esther in 1881.
