<male> was born on December 14th, 1806 in Highfield and his christening took place on April 7th, 1807 in Independent (Highfield).1  <male>'s father was Daniel (Dan) Crosland and his mother was Mary.  His paternal grandparents were Jonathon Crosland and Betty Liversedge. He had two brothers and four sisters, named John, Charles, <female>, Lucy, Hannah and Mary.  He was the second youngest of the seven children.
