<female> was born on March 28th, 1795 in Highfield and her christening took place on April 20th, 1795 in Independent (Highfield).1   <female>'s father was Daniel (Dan) Crosland and her mother was Mary.  Her paternal grandparents were Jonathon Crosland and Betty Liversedge. She had three brothers and three sisters, named John, Charles, <male>, Lucy, Hannah and Mary.  She was the oldest of the seven children.
