Hannah was born on September 3rd, 1804 in Highfield and her christening took place on October 8th, 1804 in Independent (Highfield).1   Hannah's father was Daniel (Dan) Crosland and her mother was Mary.  Her paternal grandparents were Jonathon Crosland and Betty Liversedge. She had three brothers and three sisters, named John, Charles, <male>, <female>, Lucy and Mary.  She was the third youngest of the seven children.
