Ann was born about 1772 in Oldham and her christening took place on March 11th, 1772 at St. Marys (Oldham).1  Ann's father was Benjamin Buckley and her mother was Sarah Ogden(?). She had three brothers and a sister, named Joseph, Josiah, John and Mary.  She was the second youngest of the five known children.
