Ellen (Nell) Louise Brown

Ellen, known as Nell, was born about March 13th, 1881 in Ludlow and her christening took place there on March 13th, 1881.¹²

  Ellen or Ellen Louise?
  Well there are no Birth or Christening or Marriage or Census records found that have Ellen's middle name as Louise, so I think I must have been told by my cousin Les. I have not been able to corroborate the Louise.

Nell's father was Thomas Brown and her mother was Mary Ann Postans. Her paternal grandparents were William Brown and Mary; her maternal grandparents were William Clements and Ann (Anne) Postans. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, John, Mathew, Arthur, Mary, Elizabeth and Jane. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children. She died on March 23rd, 1933.
