Solina was born in 1837.1   Solina's father was George Barrow and her mother was Nancy Greenhalgh.  Her paternal grandparents were John Barrow and Ann. She had seven brothers and five sisters, named John, Betty, Richard, James, George, Thomas, Edwin, Margaret, Eliza, Mary, Nancy and Ellen.
