John Barrow

John was born in 1822 and his christening took place on April 7th, 1822 at St. Peters (Bolton).¹²

John's father was George Barrow and his mother was Nancy Greenhalgh. His paternal grandparents were John Barrow and Ann. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Betty, Richard, James, George, Thomas, Margaret, Eliza, Mary, Nancy, Celine and Ellen. He was the oldest of the twelve children. He had a half-brother named Edwin. He died at the age of 23 in 1845 in Bolton.¹

- Died before 1851 as not on 1851 census, and happy remarried in 1853.

  Surley he's too old, but Roo has aged 23, so perhaps its a typo.

General Notes
- John and Happy were living appart on nthe 1851 census. Happy is back in Simpson St with her parents and her 7 year old daughter Maria, while John Barrow was living as an agricultural labourer at Leach House(??).
