Mary was born in 1814 and her christening took place on November 27th, 1814 at St. Peters (Bolton).1  Mary's father was Samuel Astley and her mother was Nanny Mather.  Her paternal grandparents were James Astley and Mary Bury. She had a brother and a sister, named Samuel and Maria.  Samuel and Mary were twins.  She died in September 1814 in Bolton.  Her burial was on September 24th, 1816 in Bolton.1 1
