Anna (Galia) Fedorovna Zetler
Galia was born in year 1899. She died, at the age of 90th years, in year 1989.
- General Notes
- Second wife of Daniil Zetler. Anna was a typist at the firm where Daniil worked. She was a proud woman, a priest's daughter - and unwilling to become a member of a jewish family.
Although Daniil and Anna were officially married for some time before WWII, they did not live together until the hungry war years drove Anna to ask for his care.
When Daniil died (aged in his 80s) Anna ("tyotya Galia") was left alone. She was cared for by Daniil's niece Raya Glushkovskaya and her husband Felix Itskovich. Every day, Raya would cook her meals, and Felix would deliver them on his way to work.
It was only after Anna's death in 1989 that Raya and Felix were able to leave Ukraine and migrate to the US.
Danil and Galia were married (further details are not known).
They had no children.
