Narses I's father is Athenagenes Pahlav Yusik and his mother is Ataknines-Bambisn daughter Khusraw III.  His paternal grandparents are Yusik of Gregory and Daughter of Tiradates IV; his maternal grandfather is Khusraw III Tiridates IV.  He is an only child.
