Note from Phyllis (Dye) Slater: A few notes on Prudence Gibson Wyatt:(these dates from Grandpa Dye's Bible) Born Feb. 12, 1844 in Olney, Illinois. Died Jan. 25, 1873 (in W.Va.)
Daughter of George Gibson and Emsey Lough Gibson.
Prudence died in childbirth.

Prudence and Ephram were married in a religious ceremony on June 26th, 1863 in Olney, IL. They had a daughter named Margaret.

Note from Phyllis (Dye) Slater: My grandma, Margaret L. Wyatt Dye was raised by her grandma Wyatt, (Louisa Butcher Wyatt) on Cain's run.....Grandma Margaret never went to school and could not read or write but she raised a wonderful family....A great mother and had to be a hard worker, especially in those days...I remember a story that they told about the house burning down and they lived in the barn for a year until they could build it back. I believe it was Asa who was born in the barn... Not sure it was Asa, but believe I am correct.
Margaret Louise Wyatt
Margaret was born on November 11th, 1865. She died at the age of 70 on October 11th, 1936.
