Ola was born on September 6th, 1900.  Ola's father was George Alexander Dye and his mother was Margaret Louise Wyatt.  His paternal grandparents were Dusosway George Dye and Mary  Ann McKinley; his maternal grandparents were Granville (Ephram) Washington Wyatt and Prudence Gertrude Gibson. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Roy, Asa, Garnett, Hobart, Cecil, Hollie, Prudence and Levada.  He was the seventh oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 87 on July 14th, 1988.
