Orchid was born on May 21st, 1915 in NEW YORK.1   Orchid's father was Biaggio Blace D'Anna and her mother was Giusappina E Cannamela.  Her paternal grandfather was Guiseppe Don Petro D'Anna and her paternal grandmother is Giovanna; her maternal grandparents were Giovanni (John) Cannamela and Giacoma Giangrosso. She had eight brothers and two sisters, named JOSEPH, John, SAMUEL, Red, Babe, Mel, George, Rusty, Evelyn Diane and Viola.  She was the eighth oldest of the eleven children.  She died at the age of 81 on April 14th, 1997 in Los Gatos, Santa Clara, California, United States of America.2
