Eleanor was born on September 12th, 1917 in New York.¹ Eleanor's father was Julius Dana and her mother was Felicitta Escaig. Her paternal grandfather was Guiseppe Don Petro D'Anna and her paternal grandmother is Giovanna; her maternal grandparents were Escaig and Randazzo. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Arthur, Joseph, Robert , Julius, Richard, Roland , Amelia, Viola and Gloria. She was the fourth oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 90 on June 10th, 2008 in Rochester, Monroe, New York, United States of America. The funeral took place on June 12th, 2008 in Rochester, Monroe, New York, United States of America.
