Violet was born on April 17th, 1923 in Santa Clara, California.¹ Violet 's father was JOSEPH D'Anna and her mother was Darcyena Van Clief. Her paternal grandparents were Biaggio Blace D'Anna and Giusappina E Cannamela. She had three brothers and a sister, named Joseph B, James , Robert and Gloria. She had a half-sister named Mary Jo. She died at the age of 82 in 2005.
