Augustinus Steegmans 
Augustinus was born on April 1st, 1869 in Lummen. Augustinus' father was Ludovicus Steegmans and his mother was Antonette Gaethofs. His paternal grandparents were Pierre Jean Steegmans and Anne Elisabeth Claes; his maternal grandparents were Petrus Henricus (Hendrik) Gaethofs and Catherina Smets. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Joannes, Henricus, Josephus, Fransciscus, Lucia and Maria Theresia. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 54 on May 10th, 1923 in Lummen. The funeral took place on May 29th, 1923 in Lummen.-
