Maria Adriana Elens 
Maria Adriana was born on March 31st, 1671 in Beringen.1 Maria Adriana's father was Thomas Elens and her mother was Agnès (Anna) Gaethofs. Her paternal grandparents were Aegidius (Gilles ) Elens and Maria van Moll. She had three brothers and a sister, named Egide, Egidius, Paulus and Joanna Margarita. She was the youngest of the five children.
Maria Adriana and Petrus were married in a religious ceremony on January 30th, 1697 in Beringen.1 They had four sons and two daughters, named Antonius, Thomas Egidius, Paulus Leo, Franciscus, Anne Elisabeth and Agnes Catharina. Antonius and Thomas Egidius were twins.

Thomas Egidius Gaethofs
Thomas Egidius was born on December 19th, 1697 in Beringen.2 He died at the age of 43 on March 23rd, 1741 in Beringen.3
Paulus Leo Gaethofs
Paulus Leo was born on April 25th, 1702 in Beringen.2 His godfather was Joannes Elens and his godmother was Margaretha Gaethofs.
Agnes Catharina Gaethofs
Agnes Catharina was born on October 20th, 1704 in Beringen.2 Her godmother was Catharina Elens. She died at the age of 41 on August 12th, 1746 in Beringen.4
