Jean Nicolas Elens 
Jean Nicolas was born on February 8th, 1693 in Beringen and his baptism took place there on February 8th, 1693.1 Jean Nicolas' father was Egide Elens and his mother was Marie Catherine Wendelen. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Elens and Agnès (Anna) Gaethofs. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, Henricus, Egide François, Marie Agnes and Agnes. He died at the age of 33 on April 3rd, 1726 in Beringen.1 
Jean Nicolas and Hélène were married in a religious ceremony on January 20th, 1717 in Beringen.1 They had a son and three daughters, named Egide, Joanna Maria Francisca, Marie Agnès and Maria Catharina.

Joanna Maria Francisca was born in 1721 and her baptism took place on February 14th, 1721 in Beringen.1
Egide François Elens
Egide was born in 1724 and his baptism took place on March 14th, 1724 in Beringen.1 He died at the age of 70 on November 8th, 1794 in Beringen.1
Marie Agnès Elens
Marie Agnès was born on January 7th, 1725 in Beringen and her baptism took place there on January 8th, 1725.1 She died at the age of 43 in 1768. The funeral took place on March 18th, 1768 in Beringen.1
