Lodewijk Daniels

Lodewijk was born on January 1st, 1827 in Lummen.  Lodewijk's father was Pieter Jan Daniels and his mother was Carolina Mombers.  His maternal grandparents were Henricus (Henri) Mombers and Anne Elisabeth Gaethofs. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Henricus, Petrus Joannes, Leonardus, Felix, Alexander, Maria Theresia, Philomena and Maria Constantia.  He was the second oldest of the nine children.

‌Lodewijk and Apolline were married in a religious ceremony on May 29th, 1854 in Lummen.  They had two sons named Alphonsius and Ferdinandus.
