Anna was born on June 18th, 1688 in Heusden Zolder.1   Anna's father was Joannes Canners and her mother was Elisabeth Gaethofs.  Her maternal grandparents were Antonius Gaethofs and Anna Franssens. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Petrus, Joannes, Michael, Antonius, Elisabeth and Catharina.  She is the oldest of the seven children.
