Maria Joseph Ariën

Maria Joseph was born on April 23rd, 1819 in Paal.¹   Maria Joseph's father was Henry Ariën and her mother was Anna Maria Gaethofs.  Her paternal grandfather was Gerard Ariën and her paternal grandmother is Anna Maria Vanzonhoven; her maternal grandparents were Petrus (Pierre) Gaethofs and Maria Schaenen (Schraenen). She had two brothers and four sisters, named Petrus Ludovicus, Petrus, Maria Victoria, Maria Carolina, Angelica and Maria Scholostia.  She was the fourth oldest of the seven children.
