Eugenius was born on January 2nd, 1887 in Lummen.  Eugenius' father was Felix Weyns and his mother was Colette Leurs.  His paternal grandparents were Henry Weyns and Clara Moons.  He had three brothers and two sisters, named Petrus, Petrus Henricus, Petrus Joannes, Maria Amelia and Severinus.  He was the fifth oldest of the six children.  He died at just 26 days old on January 28th, 1887 in Lummen.
