Petrus Thijs

Petrus was born on February 8th, 1797 in Genk, Gelieren. Petrus' father was Mathias Thijs and his mother was Christina Paulissen. His maternal grandparents were Petrus Paulissen and Maria Gathofs (Gaethofs). He had a brother and three sisters, named Joannes, Elisabeth, Maria and Anna. He was the youngest of the five children.
