Joannes Thijs

Joannes was born on August 10th, 1790 in Genk, Gelieren. Joannes' father was Mathias Thijs and his mother was Christina Paulissen. His maternal grandparents were Petrus Paulissen and Maria Gathofs (Gaethofs). He had a brother and three sisters, named Petrus, Elisabeth, Maria and Anna. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 73 on May 11th, 1864 in Genk.
