Ludovicus Smets

Ludovicus was born on May 4th, 1862 in Lummen. Ludovicus' father was Jean Smets and his mother was Maria Theresia Daniels. His paternal grandparents were Petrus Henricus (Hendrik) Gaethofs and Catherina Smets; his maternal grandparents are Carolus Daniels and Maria Luts. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Franciscus, Felix, Lambertus, Maria and Maria Josephina. He was the third oldest of the six children.
