Mathijs Postelmans

Mathijs was born in 1770 and his baptism took place on December 4th, 1770 in Lummen. Mathijs' father was Arnold Postelmans and his mother was Marie Gertrude Windmolders. His paternal grandparents were Walter Postelmans and Marie Gompers. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Jan, Paulus, Bernard, Guillome, Petrus Joannes, Maria Catherina and Anne Marie. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 77 on May 11th, 1847 in Lummen.
